In the road game against Lasko, a new player, 26 year-old Richard Price, had his first appearance for the Frankfurt team. He came in as tenth player substituting Dominik Hennen, who will be absent due to a serious injury for a longer period of time. The US American can play as small forward and shooting guard on positions 3 and 2.
The Hessians are having him in tryout, in order to see whether 1,96 meter tall Price fits into their mix, is able to bring the team further qualitatively and support the young players in developing their skills and talents without taking away too much valuable playing time from them.
Ricky Price comes from Duke University (1994-98) and played among others for BC Olimpija Ljubljana (1998-99) and SLUC Basket Nancy (2000-01). His last stop was with Jamhour Blue Stars in Libanon.
