The OPEL SKYLINERS Dance Team is not only famous for cheering up the crowd at the Ballsporthalle. They are also showing their tremendous dancing skills on various occasions outside our home arena.

With talent, effort and a lot of heart the 18 young women of the OPEL SKYLINERS Dance Team are about to conquer not only the Rhein-Main Region, but the whole country. For a start, they danced on the stage of the Frankfurter Festhalle along Pop-Superstars Modern Talking and Sasha.
"Our show at the All Star Day in Cologne was a highlight of my career", says Cheerleader Colleen Meyer. The 20 year old student is facing her third season with the OPEL SKYLINERS Dance Team, which forms the official s.Oliver BBL Dance Team together with the Cheergirls of ALBA Berlin.
"It was also a big fun to welcome the players of the German National Team in Frankfurt after their triumphant return from the World Championship in Indianapolis. And it didn't matter that we had to get up kind of early for this. Usually our promotion dates are in the evening, you know."
For example their appearance at the Disco Halli Galli, where the final of this years Cheerleader Tryout will take place. "The crowd was really enjoying our show. That makes our job a lot easier. As a dancer, when the people are having fun, you act more confident and you are motivated to give everything you've got."
To be even more successful in the future the OPEL SKYLINERS Dance Team is looking for support.
All interested young women should sign up now for the big Tryout that takes place on the 20th of July at Basketball City Mainhattan (NordWestStadt). If you want to join the competition you have to be at least 16 years old and skilled in dancing. Deadline is the 18th of July 2003. As one last chance you can also sign up at the beginning of the first Tryout on July 20 at Basketball-City-Mainhattan.
The decisive Final Tryout with a big party and lots of VIPs will take place on July 26 (22:00 c.e.t.) at the Disco "Halli Galli", Frankfurt, Mainzer Landstraße.
