Big Smiles were all over the Place when our National-Player and Olympia Representant for the Town of Frankfurt gave the Kids of TV Gross-Gerau a surprising Visit last week to practice with them for a full hour. Even more surprising was the fact that the Kids beat Pascal in a 3-Point Shootout!
Coaches Carola Lachmann and Janine Damjanovic informed the youngsters two weeks in advance that a Player of the OPEL SKYLINERS will come to town to practice with them. What they did not say was who it will be. The Kids were surprised when Pascal showed up.
When the doors opened at 3 PM, the Kids were happy to see that it was one of the best Pointguards in the League who would join their practice. No doubt, every Kid is dreaming of playing with a Star, taking pictures with him and getting a personal Autograph! Pascal made fun with them and played little games before the Kids selected their eight best Shooters. In a 3-Point Shootout, Pascal surprisingly lost and saw the Boys and Girls celebrating.
Of course the practice flew by this time, but still there was enough time to answer a few Questions before heading back to Frankfurt. Some Kids not only found Autographs on Cards, but on bags and Shoes as well! Before leaving, Pascal handed out some Tickets and invited the Stars of Tomorrow to the OPEL SKYLINERS homegame vs. Brandt Hagen.
